Today’s Listening is “Agricultural Works & Insect Chorus” by James and Will Welling and “Siren” by Alec Finlay and Chris Watson in conjunction with the satellite library “Flipping the Garden,” curated by Junxi Lu.

Agricultural Works was commissioned by Minetta Brook as part of Watershed: The Hudson Valley Art Project – a series of new public artworks that engages the natural and cultural geography of the Hudson River Valley. (42.48)

Siren is a collaboration between Alec Finlay and Chris Watson, a field recording at Cullercoats Harbour, Tyneside on 22 August 2005, accompanying sung performance by Clive Powell and Maria jardardottir. (114.53)
