Raúl Ortiz is a process painter who looks to the landscape as a catalyst to create poetically contemporary paintings with heightened color relationships derived from the tradition of abstraction.
See his vibrant artwork on display in the Big Walls Gallery (E/F Corridor) and the Box Office Gallery, Center for Performing Arts. Because these spaces are part of GSU’s Art on Campus Program, the work is on view any time that GSU’s campus is open.
