Boyfriends is very pleased to present the work of Chicago artist Ken Ellis. In this exhibition we will present a selection of works from the past ten years, plus a few new pieces. Ellis has worked exclusively with hand-dyed mounted quilts for over thirty years. His subjects include the famous and the infamous, fairy tales and folklore, Native Americans and the Great Pioneers of America. He has also focused on African American history and culture, which led him to Afro-Caribbean Voodoo culture.
