Artist William Estrada presents I Belong to You, You Belong to Me, a button-making program exploring social responsibility and indebtedness within communities and bordering neighborhoods of Austin and Cicero. How are we responsible for each other? How do we protect each other’s rights? How do we practice belonging with others? How is your freedom, tied to mine? Participants are invited to respond to prompts to create custom slogan buttons.

I Belong to You, You Belong to Me Street Art Cart Program is presented by Compound Yellow in partnership with Chicago Artists’ Coalition and Terrain Exhibitions as a program of Terrain-HATCH Public Art Curatorial Residency and I Am Conscious, I Am Love exhibition curated by Sadie Woods.
