The Chicago Public Library’s One Book, One Chicago in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Alliance, and WBEZ 91.5 Chicago present: Bounty—An Exploration of Themes at the Intersection of Culture, Cuisine, Agriculture and Heritage.
Explore themes of culture, cuisine, agriculture, and heritage. This two-part series connects dinner tables with the larger world in response to the One Book, One Chicago 2016 selection, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. During part one of the series, panelists from the Chicago Cultural Alliance discuss the complexity of cuisine across cultures and its resonance with people, place, and tradition.
This event takes place in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium at the Harold Washington Library, 400 South State Street. Seating is first come, first served.
