ARTIST BIO:
Audra Jacot’s work celebrates the empowerment of sexuality, emphasising on being unapologetic and owning yourself and your desires. She works in multiple mediums, but her main loves are clay and neon.

Jacot received her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014, through the Art & Technology Studies program. Her work has recently been featured in OpenTV’s Brown Girls, Emily Esperanza’s Make Out Party, and Bravo’s 100 Days of Summer. She was also named one of VAM Studio’s Top 20 Chicago Influencers of 2015.

In 2016, she juried Woman Made Gallery’s One in Herself show, which confronted the traditional and contemporary definitions of the word ‘Virgin.’ Currently living in Chicago, she continues to show work and curate at both traditional and DIY gallery spaces in Chicago. Her neon will soon be featured in Netflix’s Easy.
