his Is It Gallery is pleased to show new paintings by Haitian Artist Lesly Pierrepaul. His work is brilliantly colorful, energetic and spiritual. He uses acrylic paint on recycled cardboard with imagery inspired by channeling the spirits of Haitian Vodou. Living in Port au Prince, Pierrepaul also runs a community art school for women and children.

Says Lesly, “No Matter what I have in the Life I’ll never give up to paint cause it is my passion and my amazing Dream it’s the reason I opened an art school in my community to teach the children and women to paint… I trust the painting can change their living conditions, especially the people from Ghetto”

Having started the school in early 2016 along with Riccardo Angelo from Australia, Lesly says, “it’s called New Vision art school. I’m teaching the children and women how to paint … I’m feel happy to teach them and I believe the painting will change their living .”

We are delighted to have his work available here @ This Is It Gallery. Works are available for showing by appointment and on First and Second Fridays.
