Anna Queen: Really Real
@ Firecat Projects
2124 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60647
Opening Friday, March 24th, from 7PM - 10PM
On view through Monday, April 24th
Really Real is a series of works that attempt to recreate memories. The material combinations and actions used present flawed representations of perceived memory, mirroring in turn the errors of one’s perception in relation to the original events. Information shifts and clarity wavers, calling into question not only memories, but the original experience.
