Like the characters in the ’70s era cartoon, these artists also have the power to transform, whether it be through their practice and their materials or through the classroom and the community at large. Each artist in this group exhibition maintains not only an identity as a maker, but also as an educator, an activist, or both. They are working to make things right, to fight the good fight and to demand change.
