Luftwerk x Perrier: Summer Solstice with Owen Clayton Condon

Luftwerk and Perrier invite you to a special evening featuring live music with longtime Luftwerk collaborator, composer Owen Clayton Condon, celebrating the Summer Solstice at Garfield Park Conservatory.
On June 22, 6–8PM, Condon will perform an improvised set using select plant materials from the Conservatory. Using plant materials from the Conservatory’s collection, Condon composed the original music that accompanies Prismatic—the suspended sculpture in the Desert House—by manipulating the fronds and needles of plants and recording their output.
This music series coincides with the ongoing ‘Wednesday Evening Activations,’ which showcase the illumination of the exhibition at night. The event is free and open to the public, sponsored in part by Perrier.
