Join the us in celebrating the opening of our exhibition in partnership with Personal PAC. At the opening, artist Lyra Hill will perform “Go Down” a psycho-sexual horror comic about female pleasure, agency, and connection to the elements. Performance starts promptly at 6:30 PM.
Focusing on the many ways art and artists have moved the pro-choice and feminist movements forward, Your body is a battleground exhibition features sculpture, photography, painting, drawing and mixed media works. All artworks in the exhibition are available for bidding throughout the run of the show. Online auction house, Paddle8, will handle all bids before the in-person June 9 auction at the gallery. Exhibition and auction are in support of Personal PAC, www.personalpac.org, a nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to protecting and advancing reproductive rights for all women.
