Professor W.J.T. Mitchell will reflect on Infinite Cube (2014), a captivating sculpture comprised of a seemingly endless grid of light in the Smart Museum of Art’s collection. After the talk, join Mitchell at the Smart Museum for a special viewing of the sculpture and a reception celebrating the release of two new books from the University of Chicago Press: “Antony Gormley on Sculpture” and Mitchell’s “Image Science.”
Presented by the Smart Museum of Art and the University of Chicago Press.
