“Space and Place: Beyond the Local in Contemporary Art from India” will explore the complexities in Indian Contemporary Art of simultaneously living in a local and global space. The speakers include Betty Seid, an independent curator and specialist in South Asian art, and Shaurya Kumar, an artist and teacher at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
