Rational Park is proud to present a solo exhibition of work by Chicago painter, author and former hack, Dmitry Samarov. “Between Beverly & Bridgeport” will include depictions of interiors, still-lifes and cityscapes painted by the artist in the two South Side neighborhoods he has recently called home. Samarov’s paintings are intense meditations on his surroundings, laden with bold, expressive strokes. They are a welcome respite from the bleeps and bloops and flashing screens of our everyday digital reality.
