Lecture by Display writer Claire Keys
Saturday, December 6, 2-3pm
Writer Claire Keys, the author of the imaginative tale Display uses as content for their installation, has spent her career exploring and manipulating the intersection of literal definition and illustrative value in language—an idea further tampered with in the showcase of untranslatable words in TYPES. In an intimate talk, Claire introduces how a memoir approach is fractured with avant-garde themes of semiotics, imagism and free verse to create the narrative of TYPES.
