Gallery 400 is pleased to partner with AFIRE Chicago, Chicago Coalition of Household Workers (Latino Union), the Committee on Pilipino Issues, GK-USA Chicago Chapter, National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum, and the UIC Asian American Studies program to present a screening of the film “Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers.”
This documentary, directed by Marissa Aroy, examines the history of Filipino farmworkers and their important, but often overlooked role in American labor struggles.
The screening will be followed by a reception.
