Directions explores the notion of line beyond the context of two-dimensional images. Referencing materials and forms found in domestic spaces and urban environments, sculptures by Morgan Elder and Charles Kelman evoke associations with commonplace, utilitarian objects. Lines rendered in real space become tangible ideas that blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture.
