Construction workers, driving at night, and empty candy boxes are some of the subjects featured in the new paintings by Gwendolyn Zabicki on display at the Rainbo Club, until April 10th. Known as the favorite drinking place of writer Nelson Algren, the Rainbo Club’s storied legacy suits her observational, Chicago-centric style.
