Adds Donna is pleased to present Domestics, a solo exhibition of new work by James Kao. Domestics is a reflection on Kao’s current home studio setting and the subjects that arise therein. With a focus on drawing, the selected works illustrate the importance of observation to his practice. Kao’s enigmatic forms, which sometimes resemble a language unto themselves, inhabit an inchoate terrain, at once earthly and oneiric.
