devening projects + editions is very pleased to invite you to THE WHEELHOUSE, an evening of short animations framing the premiere of Megillat Breakdown, a new film by Leslie Baum and Frederick Wells.

THE WHEELHOUSE happens on Sunday, November 17th, from 4 – 7pm.

In addition to Megillat Breakdown, the program will feature Amy Sillman’s animation Pinky’s Rule, Allison Schulnik’s film Mound, Kate Nartker’s Line by Line and Melissa Oresky and Zak Boerger’s recent piece Solar Anvil #4. Though all of the participating artists are primarily object makers, explorations in animation reveal restless and curious intellects and a desire to open up primary practices to the unexpected possibilities embedded in the moving image..
