Conrad Bakker is an Associate Professor of Art and MFA Studio Chair for the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. Bakker’s ongoing series of Untitled Projects engage the careful construction and specific placement of carved and painted objects so as to critically comment upon and make tangible the everyday economies between persons and things and spaces.
