In the West Wing, Corbett vs. Dempsey presents new paintings by Jonathan Gardner. With a clear connection to the strange figurative world of Konrad Klapheck, Gardner’s works focus on the female nude, in this case always in the company of citrus fruits.

Gloriously weird and beautifully painted, these are the latest efforts by one of the gallery’s favorite rising Chicago painters.
