Brave New Art World Open House
@ River North Gallery District
Franklin & Superior
Opening Thursday, June 6th, from 5PM - 8PM
On view through Thursday, June 6th
ART IS FOR THE PEOPLE : Brave New Art World is an arts unification movement dedicated to the service of consciousness. It revolves around a monthly art crawl on steroids in the River North gallery district. The movement aims to illuminate the Chicago Renaissance, engage and cultivate the public interest and access, and to expand awareness.
There will be critical talks of varying formats. This time around we have Tricia Van Eck(7PM), Jake Myers(6PM) and Victor Nwanko(5PM) speaking, as well as public performance art curated by DFBRL8R, and a local food and beverage survey. Expect Angel’s Envy bourbon, Japonais, Local Root, 6 different supper clubs (Feast & Imbibe, Thurk, Tuesday Night Dinner, Twain Pairings, Edible Alchemy, Goose & Fox), Sweet Ape ice cream, Goose Island, Lagunitas and Flossmoor Breweries, Arize Kombucha, Izze, Big Star, and Bow Truss coffee.
Live music from Karlis Kandero, Kate Adams, No Goodbye, Steven Gilpin, Professors on Furlough and Ashley Dalene.
Meet the Brave New Art World team on the corner of Franklin and Superior to pick up a map.
