Libby Lumpkin was the founding curator of Stephen Wynn’s Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. She has edited and produced a collection of theoretical essays, titled Deep Design: Nine Little Art Histories. She was a contributing editor of Art Issues magazine and is a regular contributor to Artforum. She is now the Professor of Art History and Criticism in the Department of Art & Art History at the University of New Mexico.
