KEN VANDERMARK AND RICHARD HULL have been collaborating on audio/ visual performances for over ten years. Hull, using video projections, incorporates collaged photographs, paintings, drawings and moving images, into the musical performances of Vandermark and his ensemble of jazz musicians. This exchange between structure and spontaneity, intention and improvisation, mirrors the individual working methods of the two artists.
