In captivating images of survival and suffering, the Soviet artist and designer Viktor Koretsky (1909-1998) articulated a Communist vision of the world unlike that of conventional propaganda.

The opening features a panel discussion (at 5:30 pm) with curators Robert Bird, Christopher Heuer, Matthew Jesse Jackson, and Tumelo Mosaka followed by a reception.
