The last forty years has seen an unprecedented upsurgence of text in art. By showcasing artists and writers whose practices are situated at the intersection of the literary and the visual, Exhibition 3.12052009 is a curious survey of how these concerns accelerate today. MVSEVM continues its broad curatorial strategy of inviting artists and thinkers whose work implicitly suggests compatible ideas and methodologies. Artists create work specifically for the unique space of the exhibition,expanding the possibilities for chance and experimentation.
