Our own Jesy Grose, local curator and artist, is all about the connection. When curating a Women’s History Month presentation at Bite Cafe, she wanted to connect with some women she’s worked with before and some she’s simply admired until now. “We all want to be satisfied, to be valued, to be seen and heard. This show is a mix of all types.” said Jesy. Speaking to her inspiration, “Women are powerful, fierce, wild, celestial, creators, soft, strong, curious, ever flowing, and all of the in between.”

Featured artists include: Goon and the Moon, Joanie Faletto, Liana Faletto, Mariana Rockwell, Megan Kind, Ray Lechocki, Sarah Braden, Ana Laughlin, and Ashleigh Dye, amongst others.

We’re hosting a reception for the talented ladies on March 17 from 6-8pm, so join us for dinner and conversation with the artists.

The post Women’s History Month first appeared on The Visualist.
