As an extension of his creative life, Yoshida voraciously acquired a spectacular range of objects from folk and popular culture, artworks by friends and former students, and works by notable non-mainstream artists, which he artfully arranged throughout his Chicago home.</p> <p>This program will consider Yoshida’s collection and its impact in Chicago, the enthusiastic responses it elicited, and its new, permanent home at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Art Preserve.
