The SSCAC is excited to launch our restoration with the first step-restoring the windows with new authentic replacements. We will go LIVE with the removal of windows from the Margaret Burroughs Gallery. Meet our Restoration Team and watch throughout the summer on FACEBOOK for updates on our historic façade.
2020 marks the 80th Anniversary of the South Side Community Art Center and we will embark upon our first historic capital campaign with the restoration and expansion of our building.
The window restoration is made possible by funding from the National Trust for Historic Preservation African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund.
