Searching For Queerness In Hull-House
@ University of Illinois at Chicago, Gender and Sexuality Center
1007 W Harrison St, Chicago, IL 60607
Opening Thursday, March 14th, from 6:45PM - 7:45PM
Join me for a virtual tour of the Hull-House Museum, highlighting the queer history that isn’t always evident during a typical visit.
The “tour” will be accessed through smart phones, but people can share and there will be some chargers (for all phone types) in the space.
Free, open to the public, and there will be cupcakes!
The event will be hosted in the Gender and Sexuality Center’s community lounge. It is on the first floor of UIC’s Behavioral Sciences Building. There will be wayfinding sings and the space is wheelchair-accessible.
Directions: The GSC is off the UIC-Halsted Blue Line train stop. Exit the train platform toward Morgan St., turn left and cross the street.
