Considered Cloth: Rags to Rugs

Rags to Rugs is a two-part workshop will invite community contributions of used textiles that will be cut into strips and either rewoven into rag rugs using a floor loom, or braided into a circular form. Considered topics of conversation will include accumulated time and resources of textiles, historic practices of reuse that curbed carbon and waste footprint, and the value of the considered object. Both events are free.
