This event is part of the special programming that will be happening during the graduating class of 2019’s Master’s of Art in Art Therapy and Counseling (MAATC) art exhibition: Art of Connection: Spaces Between which is running from January 26th 2019- February 9th, 2019.
Sexual Violence: Edges and Boundaries is an evening of poetry, performance and scholarship around the nuances of living in the #metoo era.
Please join Annie Novotny, Faculty and Art Therapy graduate student and Neha Bhat, art therapy graduate student for an evening exploring some simple and some more complex themes around the topic of sexual violence. Please note that this event may be triggering due to its content. The presenters invite you to listen, engage, participate and learn, all within your own zone of comfort. Annie will lead a performance of her zine on Sexual Assault while Neha will present her arts-based research on working with the duality of a being a survivor and perpetrator of sexual violence.
