On Saturday, November 17th SATELLITE hosts the Backyard Series. This event presents the launch and opening of this new space as a platform for artists to come together in an interdisciplinary capacity for elevation. This night is an opportunity for residents and guests to network and engage with the wide community of underground Chicago.
The celebration of this new space features 12 different artists from print to poetry. We come together to celebrate, share, and launch a community of wordsmiths, soundsmiths, and creative individuals. In light of all this political shame, environmental madness, and callous injustice, it’s important to stand together and remind ourselves that we will always hold the power in our hands to lift each other up and put effort into making impacts that do matter. We invite everyone to a stage set for you- share your place in a safe space alongside a talented set of performers for the evening.
