Affordable Housing Workshop for Chicago Artists

Opening Wednesday, October 24th, from 6PM - 8PM

This informative workshop will help participants to better understand what affordable housing is and how it works. You will leave organized and prepared to search and apply for housing. Information regarding income eligibility, tenant selection criteria, and documentation will be discussed and will address the specific needs of people in the performing arts, entertainment, and creative community. This workshop will also provide historical context, an overview of affordable housing programs, information on the Chicago Housing plan, and will highlight current opportunities that are in development.
