Facets Town Hall: Building Community in a Fragmented Digital Age
@ Facets
1517 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL 60614
Opening Sunday, July 29th, from 1PM - 3PM
The explosion of digital and social media has changed our lives. But how do we measure its impact when technology advances at such a dizzying speed?
Join us for a special Facets town hall where we answer the important question: How can media build community in a fragmented digital age?
The town hall is free with RSVP and open to the public. A reception will follow the event.
Program
A panel of distinguished experts and key Facets staff members will explore how media can become productive education tools, enhance social and civic discourse, and shape connected, caring, and inclusive communities.
Then join the panel and community leaders in a conversation about how media affects important issues in our immediate community.
Panel
Our panel members will be unveiled incrementally leading up to the event.
