Public Media Institute is partnering with Illinois Humanities, The Chicago History Museum, and the activists who changed the world in 1968 to commemorate that transformative year’s 50th anniversary. From the democratic convention protests, to the urban revolt, we’ll use this site to commemorating and celebrating the struggles of 68 and their impact on today’s movements for social justice.

✊ Tell us about your 68 organizing, and/or contemporary struggles that need amplification!

✊ Find out how to get involved in the projects that will be ongoing through 2018, especially those around the anniversary of the Chicago DNC protests this August.

✊ Partner organizations for screenings

✊ Other 1968 events going on in Chicago and nationally to add to our running list

✊ Radio content – from archival 1968 recordings to contemporary activism PSAs

✊ Volunteers to help ORGANIZE all this madness!
