Black Feminism is Black History: A Screening and Discussion

Opening Monday, February 19th, from 7:30PM - 9:30PM

In honor of Black History Month, CARE will be hosting a screening of the award winning film “No! The Rape Documentary”, a film which explores the history of gender based violence against Black women through first person testimonies, scholarship, spirituality, activism, and cultural work of Black people in the United States. The film will be followed by a brief discussion about the history of black feminism, intersectionality, and how to continue the fight against sexual violence as well as support black survivors.

The event will take place in The Black House (1914 Sheridan Rd).
