Lialios has been a practicing artist since 1978. Her work evolved from documentary photography work in Detroit, to large photographic transparencies of personal and political imagery.
Detroit 1978-1983 features black and white and color prints of Lialios’ earliest work, including both her documents of the community of artists, performers, and activists surrounding the Wayne State campus where she lived; and the studio series, “Installations to be photographed, then destroyed, 1980-83”.
The Generals are an experience of multilingual neo jazz soul and immigrant country western music. The Generals are: Karla Anaguano, Adrienne Ed Setsuko Finucane, Miguel Amur Martinez, German Flores, Farsheed Zr, and Brendan Finucan.
