Female Power Models in Indian and Greek Mythology

Opening Sunday, October 8th, from 2PM - 4:30PM

The National Hellenic Museum and the Indo American Heritage Museum come together to present a celebration of cultural heritage around the Goddesses of Greek and Indian Mythology, featuring dramatic presentations from Mandala Arts and more, demonstrating how strong women in Greek and Indian mythology model power for women and girls who yearn for empowerment in the new millennium. Come at 1:30pm for snacks and crafts before the event!
Admission: FREE, $10 suggested donation

This program is a part of the Chicago Cultural Alliance’s Inherit Chicago. Inherit Chicago is a city wide festival of art, ideas and performance at neighborhood heritage museums and cultural centers.
