Emerging artist Karen Vierneisel has been chosen by the North Shore Art League (NSAL) to exhibit her new series “Portals.” The theme of this exhibit developed over time as Karen observed that she was repeatedly painting the reflections in and views through windows and doors. Portals are intriguing. We may look through them or pass through them unthinkingly. Or we may peer into them wondering what is around the corner or through the glass.
