Matheus Goulart: 5X5 Resident Artist

Matheus is a visual artist from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He is based in New York City and has exhibited in several solo shows including “Caras e Cores” featured in New York Magazine, and “Style is the Limit” curated by Wallplay. Matheus works with several hospitality partners including The Hotel on Rivington and Provocateur and has a furniture line sold in the Miami Design District. This year he participated in a group show in Venice, Italy and completed the Fusion Arts residency in Ishikawa, Japan. He is currently in Chicago working with local art advisor, Carol Nasaw, and preparing for shows in Sao Paulo, London, and Dubai.
