Visual Repertoire for Video Artists: Projects

Using the vast visual resources housed at the Stony Island Arts Bank, participants in Black Cinema House’s free weekly class built personal libraries of image-based references using inspiration from the Glass Lantern Slides collection, archival materials from the Johnson Publishing Library, and selected films from the Black Cinema House collection. Tonight they present their mood reels, look books, and cinematic plans for upcoming videos.
