Join CEMP for an interactive, social event created to help expand knowledge on the logistical and practical inner-workings of museums and cultural spaces.
Do you have questions about the path to a museum career or to expand on your current museum career? Do you wish you had a stronger grasp on different departments in the museum space? Have you wondered how to talk about your retail, food service, or other non-museum work experience when seeking museum employment? We want to help answer these questions!
During Museums: 101 you will have the opportunity to chat with experts and professionals from several different museums and cultural institutions. By participating for the evening, you’ll get the 411 about resumes, departments, academic experience, interviewing, internships and volunteer work, social media presence, and much more!
