Anne Hayden Stevens is a narrative landscape painter currently working on two parallel bodies of work: oil paintings and a print series titled Women & Mountains. In this series women move through canyons, mountains, and across open plains, which represent the challenges we face in contemporary society. Stevens has exhibited widely in the Chicagoland area.
Katsy Johnson is an award winning photography based artist who travels throughout isolated corners of the American Midwest and South to capture images of disappearing rural life. She then layers her large scale photographs with wax and paint to add depth and complexity to the wistful images. Johnson is a member of Perspective Gallery in Evanston and is currently included in “Sense of Place” at the Elmhurst Art Museum.
