Gather…
…makers of diverse experimental sound and music practices for connection and creative exchange. A series curated by Adam Shanley, Allen Moore, Alex Grimes, Nick Meryhew and Rebecca Himelstein.
On December 17th, the Comfort Station is proud to present the work of Mitsu Salmon, A.J. McClenon, and Alejandro Acierto in an evening of performances exploring the voice, communication, and storytelling.
AJ McClenon is a writer, performer and visual & sound artist based in Chicago. AJ’s work sets personal narratives alongside empirical date – leveling and questioning the hierarchies of truth.

Mitsu Salmon creates original performance, sound and visual works, which fuse multiple disciplines. She was born in the melting pot of Los Angeles to a Japanese mother and American father. Her creation in differing mediums, the translation of one medium to another, is connected to the translation of differing cultures and languages.
