Not My President: A Feminist Conversation

In response to the news of the new president-elect, The Overlook will be hosting its first ever Feminist conversation. This gathering is meant to create a safe space to bring your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and fears.
Although Individual feminism and activism takes many different shapes and forms, this conversation is meant to find a way to openly come together to make a plan of action and stand in solidarity.
The Overlook remains a space of meditation and art that is open to all. People of all walks of life are welcome but if anyone threatens the integrity of the space, the conversation, or the comfortability of others, they will be asked to leave. This is a support group.
I encourage you to bring articles, statistics, experts from books, reactionary writing, music, anything that is helping you get through this difficult time to share with the group.
