I used to call John ‘the best drummer in Portland’ but then we both left. He makes an all too rare appearance in Chicago to shred and be shredded by his percusso-linguistic drum machine. John’s band Why I Must Be Careful once made adobe bricks that came with a list of every bank that received funds in the bail out.
