Fernwey Gallery is pleased to present Algorithm Gerbils, new work by Chicago-based artist Alexander Valentine. Please join us and the artist for an opening reception on September 4th, from 7-10pm at 916 N Damen Avenue, Chicago.
Valentine is an artist, publisher, designer, and educator. His recent work employs commercial print technologies and cyber graphic mark-making to create visualizations of the interaction between humans and touch interfaces. Valentine has presented his printed work nationally in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Minneapolis and internationally in Den Haag, Tokyo, and London. He is a co-founder of No Coast Editions and a Lecturer in the Department of Printmedia at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
