In a one night event, Mel Phongsavath will shape Outhouse Gallery into a, south eastern asia, domestic dining space. Through the installation Phongsavath develops a representation of joyful past experiences which include several sentimental and idealized scenarios of daily domestic dining. The contextualized exploration of play, fundamental leisure, and rationalized nonsense gradually come together through the installation. The dynamic strain of consumption is then incurred through the conductor and the attendant. We invite you to DIN-DIN and hope, through participation, you experience the relational engagement of companionship.
